Welcome!

The Elders Council for Parks in BC is an independent society. Our members are retired parks system employees and conservation advocats who have dedicated a significant portion of their lives to parks and protected areas in BC.

The society provides a way for our members to continue to lead and participate in volunteer projects aimed at ensuring the long-term well-being of BC's world-class parks system.

Who can join?

Acknowledging our park pioneers

Writing the history of BC's park system and establishing a heritage centre.

Collecting important archives and memorabilia to ensure they are preserved.

Mentoring the next generation of BC’s park champions.

Fund raising to support an endowment for park related projects.

Register for the Elders Council for Parks in British Columbia! Membership is free.

We look forward to your support and ideas. Let us know about other people who may want to be involved with the Elders Council for Parks.
